With a kinesiology background and interest in sports medicine, I was drawn to massage therapy as a career due to its ability to be part of athlete care plans, not only for rehabilitation, but also for maintenance during training. My philosophy is that your care should be proactive, not just reactive, and that the best way to elevate your performance is to enhance your recovery. My clinical focus of athletic performance and recovery care, paired with my advanced training in sports massage has led me back to my roots at Laurier where I work in varsity athletics. Sport Candidate Member of the Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association, I have been a trainer for various sports teams in the KW area since 2013, primarily working with baseball and hockey.
After studying kinesiology and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in the Faculty of Science from Wilfrid Laurier University, I went on to pursue my Diploma of Massage Therapy and graduated from the Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2020. Dedicated to professional development and expanding my skill set, I regularly partake in continuing education courses and have become certified in myofascial cupping and am a Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapist.
Utilizing General Swedish Massage, fascial release, or sports massage we can work together to tailor a treatment plan around your needs and treatment goals. Whether you're an elite athlete, weekend warrior, or just want to become more active, my goal is to help you move efficiently and comfortably so you can continue to do the activities you love!
