Angela Manzato-RMT

History
I have always wanted my work to have a positive impact in my community. For a long time I did this in the only way I knew how and that was in a supportive role as an administrative assistant in social services, as a medical secretary in a hospital, and then in a multidisciplinary clinic. It was at the clinic that I witnessed how much difference a massage could make. That’s also when I began making massage a regular part of my health and wellness regime. I have to admit that after many years of working at a desk and playing baseball I had a plethora of chronic physical injuries to have worked on. But “la piece de resistance” that made me have to pursue a new career in massage therapy was the positive impact massage had on my mental health. I knew I wanted to help other’s the way I was being helped. So when the universe made it possible I went for it.
education
I began my education at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Cambridge, Ontario, however, due to the unforeseen closure of the school during the Covid pandemic I completed my Massage Therapy education with Distinction at TrIOS College, Kitchener in July of 2021. I have been Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since November 2021.

As a life-long learner I have continued pursuing advanced modalities in order to offer a variety of treatment options with a gentler approach. In 2022, through the Upledger Institute, I started the certification process in CranioSacral Therapy (CST). Then in 2024, I successfully completed Level 1 and Level 2 for the Dr. Vodder Technique in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), with the goal of obtaining Level 3 in 2025. Stay tuned!
technique
I truly believe that in order to heal you must rest, and in order to rest your nervous system must be calmed. I strive to provide a calm and safe environment for my clients in order to facilitate this healing. Through active listening and assessment, I can then propose a treatment plan to fit their needs and concerns. For those that wish to continue their rehabilitation or to maintain optimal health between appointments I am always excited to offer individualized home care.
services
In my practice I offer therapeutic and relaxation massage through the use of a variety of general Swedish massage techniques. I treat both chronic and acute conditions such as low back pain, frozen shoulder and headaches to name a few. I am most passionate about treating kind souls who suffer with depression and anxiety. With my advanced training I also specialize in Upledger’s CranioSacral Therapy Techniques and Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage Techniques.
