history

Growing up being good at science and loving to work with people, a career where I get to rehab those going through long-lasting side-effects take back their lives made a lot of sense. I stumbled into the field of Kinesiology when I noticed how misunderstood “exercise management” can be, and growing up an artsy theatre kid helped me understand just how broad a category healthy movement can encompass.

education

I graduated with a BSc (honours, co-op) in Kinesiology, with a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2020 during the pandemic and am currently finishing a MSc in Kinesiology focusing on the biomechanics of the shoulder. I’ve published some lymphatics research with academic colleagues on wearable garments, compression pumps, and treatment of fibrosis with ultrasound. In 2025, I registered with the College of Kinesiologists and finished my Complete Decongestive Therapist training with the Vodder Academy, became Bonefit certified, and finished my Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training.

TECHNIQUE

Using biomechanical analysis, I treat a variety of conditions focusing on the root cause of pain and dysfunction. My goal is to continuously educate my patients while returning them to a pre-injury level of function.

SERVICES

The practice of Kinesiology blends someone’s individual biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and psychosocial factors to treat and prevent injury and disease, and to improve movement and performance. In my practice, I use individualized exercise prescription, as well as a variety of modalities and manual therapy techniques I’ve learned along the way (including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Release and Scar Mobilization) to help get you manage any longstanding health concerns including post-cancer treatment-related side effects, lymphedema, and post-operative side effects.
