A strong team and superior record demonstrate our commitment to our clients
In my practice I use a variety of methods to treat conditions such as; sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions like fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis and headaches. These methods include deep tissue massage, relaxation massage, fascial and connective tissue work, Kinesio Taping and hot stone massage.
In my practice I use traditional chiropractic techniques alongside acupuncture, Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping and orthotics. I have a special interest in treating patients with fibryomyalgia, headaches, and sports related injuries.
Growing up with an active lifestyle has allowed me to learn about optimal movement and performance through participation, competition and coaching for both team and individual sports (soccer, martial arts, archery and weightlifting- with kettlebells or barbell). I love that through my massage practice I can combine my interests in teaching, helping others, problem solving and physical activity.
I practiced in community mental health settings since 2009 and have loved this work. However, my recent journey to parenthood involved experiencing the whole life impact of pelvic organ prolapse.
Through my own experiences and talking to other mothers, I quickly became aware of a need in our community for greater awareness of pelvic health issues, access to the preventative and rehabilitative strategies available, more robust maternal wellness services overall, and mental health services for individuals living with pain or other chronic conditions.
As a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy I gained experience working with a variety of clients and conditions including individuals with chronic pain, athletes with sports related injuries, and palliative clients seeking a comforting gentle touch and connection. In the future I hope to further my knowledge by taking courses in fascial stretch therapy, cupping, and lymphatic drainage.
